Empowered: The Boundaries Workshop
Saturday January 17, 2026 at 2:00 PM
In the context of systemic oppression (”power over”), we must find and step into our power as individuals and the collective. In this workshop, you’ll summon the wisdom of your body, drawing from situations in your real life; bridge yourself from fear into rooted empowerment; practice raising your voice with strength and authority; find your sweet spot to say a strong no without bitterness or anger; and design a unique go-to mantra to keep your empowerment practice alive.
Mind Your Own Mind: Taming the Storm Within
Saturday January 24, 2026 at 2:00 PM
It’s 2026. It has never been harder to pay attention. The best minds of our generation devise endless ways to scream for our attention. And the cost is high. Thoughts, worries and impulses throw many of us around like wee boats on a rough winter sea. Luckily, the mindfulness anchors that have existed for thousands of years are available to us.
In this workshop, we will practice several ways to find tranquility in any storm, including tuning into the body, and watching thoughts without engaging. You will develop a practice to take out of the workshop with you: just 2 minutes a day to build a strong mindfulness practice.

What People are Saying
Workshop Details
These *in-person* events are interactive workshops, facilitated by Cory, to experience and practice setting and receiving boundaries.
This event is for people who
want to know, trust, respect and accept themselves.
find it hard to tell people no, disagree, or be rejected.
avoid certain people, situations, & potential conflict.
have inner conflict.
want to be able to say what they want/need without harming others.
This is a playful, practical and very supportive workshop in Fernwood, Victoria, BC.
Here are the beliefs behind this workshop:
You can grow from wherever you are now.
We can’t talk our way into empowerment: we need practice.
Setting and receiving boundaries without panicking is an emotional intelligence skill, a skill that can grow rapidly in a low-stakes setting like this.
We need to build resilience communally, not just individually.
